Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever
The sun rises in the East and sets in the West. The rain has its seasons at different places or countries in the world. There are different time zones in different parts of the world. There are different blessed human characters, different body structures, different ways of human reasoning, different human goals, different customs, different socio-economic levels in the world and so forth. Now connecting these to our passage on review, would lead us to these two begging questions in our cherished souls to give God more honor and glory. That is, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Why and how?
Quickly, the why is because God is perfect in all His ways. The how is because God is Spirit, who is the Creator of Life. Now let us expound on these two to safely drive us home to the great relevance of the passage. God manifested in His fullness in flesh (Godliness) in the person of Christ Jesus. This was and is perfection on full display to the whole world from the Divine Throne in Heaven. Jesus Christ is the perfect evidence of Truth, Love, Peace, and Life without end. This Divine Personality is the power that separates time from emptiness. Love, Truth, Peace, and Life have no duplicate because they are constant at all times, in all places, in all circumstances, and to all existence. They are the fulfillment of the goodness from God to humankind forever through Christ Jesus. God is Spirit, and though, Jesus Christ walked on earth in flesh, His whole Being was and is the perfect Spirit of God. That means, the same Spirit, who is God the Father, was and is the full or perfect presence in Christ Jesus. He existed even before time or creation, and was in God as the Word, the Creator of existence. This is, who theologians refers to as the Logos and the Holy Scriptures calls Him, the Word or Living Word of God. In our own spiritual acclaim, this Logos (Living Word) is the Supreme Consciousness of Eternal Purity, who is the Living Being in and is God. Therefore, Love, Truth, Peace, and Life are Spiritual and of God, but took human form to connect us to our original status with God in Christ Jesus (Salvation) through the only Living Spirit, who is Holy (Purity). All the prophecies in the Holy Bible are about the person of Christ Jesus, the Savior of human souls. This is what makes Christ Jesus the only connection and perfect presence of God to humanity forever. The Living Word, who is Christ Jesus is the same before creation with power over all things. The Living Word, who is Christ Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever because perfection of Truth, Love, Peace, and Eternal Life does not, cannot and will never change in touching lives and situations. The same power from the Throne of Glory, who is the person of Christ Jesus or as the Living Word is the fountain of trust that never dries or disappoints because all of creation from the beginning to the end are under His power, as the Supreme Consciousness of Eternal Purity. He is the brightness of God’s Glory, the express image of His Person, whose words are Spirit and Life. When Jesus said, before Abraham, He was…the religious minds around Him then screamed and some even insulted Him because they lacked spiritual discernment. However, He was truly before Abraham because He was in Spirit as the Word, who is the same as God, the Creator of Abraham. The message to us from the Throne of Glory is that the power in His name will never change in turning situations for good. He is the power and presence of victory as the righteousness of God. He is the Anointing that breaks every yoke of darkness and bring light to lives because He brought Grace and Truth to humanity forever. Hence, in this month of August 2021 and beyond, His grace and truth will flourish mightily in us and through us from glory unto glory by the Spirit of the Living God. Jesus is alive as Lord forever. Amen!
