If God already knows our needs, why do we need to pray?

Interesting! That is, the human mind is very probing, articulate and demanding. These are nice traits when the objective is for good. Respectfully, for anyone to look at these values negatively is an attempt to downgrade and disconnect the conscience of the human person. Notwithstanding, God is not a concept conceived by human mind strictly to appeal and conjure human feelings, emotions, and aspirations to the bridge that leads to nowhere. Rather, God is the genuine source and destiny of existence, who resides by Himself, to Himself, and with Himself in perfect unity in Spirit, Power and Holiness. In the spiritual realm, God is not male or female, but graciously is the Holy, Eternal Living Consciousness of Glory. Just like there is no black, Asian, Arabic, Jewish and white soul, nor is there male soul or female soul. All souls are the same without color, race or creed, but carries different bodies, hopes and purpose at various territorial locations in the world. However, some may willfully or unknowingly allow, and or sell their souls to the cancerous elements of darkness (Evil). In the heavenly realm, God is not in any form and shape, although, God can and does appear to humans in forms and shapes dispensing the reign of His perfection, power and preeminence, reflecting as prophecies or the supernatural works, which humans call miracles.
The understanding here is to put on the forefront the greatness of the only true Divine God, and then use the platform to humbly bring to light the answer to the question. Hence, in the spiritual sphere, prayer is the blood of believers. This blood is not physical but is the life that flows from God into the believer in Spirit. That is, the relationship we have with God is the distinction of His Spirit transforming our spirit into His Spirit in the name of Christ Jesus. This relationship is not ordinary but is the presence of His Sovereign Majesty in full exhibition in and through willing human vessels, sustained through prayers and other spiritual exercises. There are two main forms of prayers. The first is with or to God and the second form is in God. Prayers of request, intercession and deliverance are prayers done with God. In this form, we are in committee or communication with God about things He knows and has already given us the answers. However, for the result to manifest to us, this form of prayer brings us into the presence of interaction with God, and because He knows our hearts, He checks on how we are handling or treating the threats, distractions and challenges we are going through in the His presence. That is, are we firm by resisting the spiritual onslaughts from the enemy with His words and Spirit, or are we failing each time the enemy throws its darts at us. When our focus is firm on His power by not giving up in faith, then God would guide our hearts into the victorious insights of His Glory. This is how our prayer needs are transformed into physical evidence or blessings into our lives and situations.
The second form of prayer or fellowship is in God. This is where we do not make any request or demands but simply to honor and glorify God for His infinite mercies in our lives. This is the worship and praise that are done in gratitude to our cherish relationship with God. This kind of pray is always deep in Spirit and truth because the heart of worship is in holy agreement or union in Spirit and to the magnificent presence of His Glory. This form of prayer could be done in any place or time because is the joyous release in the heart into His glorious presence. There is the situation when the Holy Spirit takeovers by helping us to pray, not in our human understanding but with groaning in
Spirit (Speaking in tongues). That is, this can happen while we are driving, in the midst of people or even in crowded places as the heart is silently drawn into His presence. However, the main benefits that comes from this form of prayer are double spiritual growth and power. This is because the zeal in the heart is connected to the true purpose in life, which is to offer gifts on the altar of Eternal Glory without personal pursuit. That means, the interest, aspiration and communication in this form of worship is to honor, praise and give gratitude to the divine Presence of Eternal Truth. Therefore, the need to pray even when God already knows our hearts or needs would satisfy two main reasons amongst others. First, it forster true and stronger harmony of our relationship with God. The second point is that it solidifies our rightful place of trust in His Glorious presence, which necessarily would translate into the delivery of resources here on earth as it was originally ordained to us as vessels of His heavenly order and Glory.
In summary, prayer is more than communication, rather it is the blessed appreciation and celebration of our true relationship with our good God. In His Presence there is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. God is great… Amen!
